My Bio

I grew up as a compulsive doodler: keeping my hands busy while my mind wonders helps me stay calm. I started reading Manga when I was young, and that help shaped my doodles. As I started visiting more museums and learning more about art history, I got the idea to direct my energy into attempt to make "art". This magical connection between the viewer and the artist made me feel it would be safe to share myself this way.

Even before I started painting, I was always snapping pictures with my phone and my camera. Seeing the world through the view finder provided me with the distance to appreciate where I was.
